Armor Screen
The Armor Screen is a flexible, transparent membrane designed to withstand even the strongest hurricane winds without rupture and to deflect large and small missiles.
Meeting the stringent building codes, Armor Screen is constructed of a technologically advanced, lightweight fabric which is 95% solid and 5% porous, allowing natural light and visibility while effectively eliminating high winds and driving rain intrusion.

Accordion Shutters
Accordion shutters are probably the best value for the money. This aluminum-type shutter is the most common, due to the ease of use as well as the relatively low cost. These units are quick to operate and require minimum maintenance. Once a year, spray on a silicon type lubricant, and you're ready to go. These shutters can be activated in approximately 10 minutes.

Storm forecaster predicting a very active hurricane season
The 2007 Atlantic hurricane season will likely be "very active" with 17 named storms, including nine hurricanes, five of them major, storm forecasters William Gray and Philip Klotzbach said.
They call for a 74 percent chance that a major hurricane, with sustained winds greater than 110 mph, will strike the U.S. coastline between northern Maine and south Texas. That prediction is considerably higher than the long-term average of 52 percent.
